Fallopian tubes. A pair of tubes that each connect an ovary to the womb; an egg cell travels through one of these. When fertilization happens, this is where a sperm cell can fertilize the egg. Fallopian tubes can be blocked, clipped or removed as a form of (usually) permanent sterilization through a surgery that’s called a tubal litigation; this can’t be reversed reliably.
