Sexual roles. In bi and gay slang, the “top” is the person sticking their fingers, penis, or a sex toy inside their partner; the person taking in the fingers, penis or toy is the “bottom.” Someone who likes doing both is said to be “versatile.” Sexual roles have nothing to do with a guy’s appearance or with how he presents his gender: it’s a matter of what he enjoys in bed, that’s all.
